The rules that sit behind Relayo. Written once, in one place, with nothing buried in a PDF.
Relayo is run by SYNK. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not, do not use it. That is the whole deal.
1. What Relayo is
Relayo is a search engine that fetches pages on your behalf and passes them back to you. We are a go between. We do not host, own, write or endorse anything we fetch, and we are not responsible for what is on a page somebody else published.
2. Who can use it
You need to be 13 or over. If you are under 18, get a parent or guardian to read this with you. You are responsible for everything done through your connection to Relayo.
3. Using it properly
You agree to use Relayo lawfully and to follow our acceptable use rules. In short, do not use it to break the law, to attack anyone, or to get at material that is illegal to hold or share.
You also agree not to hammer the service. Automated scraping, flooding it with requests, or reselling access without asking us first will get you cut off.
4. No promises about availability
Relayo is provided as is. We do not promise it will be up, fast, or able to load any given site. Sites break, networks fall over, and plenty of sites deliberately block proxies. We will do our best, but we are not guaranteeing a result.
5. We block things too
Relayo is not a way round every restriction, and we are not pretending otherwise. We block adult and age restricted material through the service to meet our duties under the Online Safety Act 2023, and we block anything that is illegal to access. Our blocked material page sets out what that covers and why.
Do not rely on Relayo to reach something we have blocked, and do not try to get round that blocking. Attempting to is a breach of these terms.
6. We can stop you using it
We can suspend or block access at any time, without notice, if we think you are breaking these terms or putting the service or other people at risk. Since there is no account to cancel, this usually means blocking traffic rather than closing anything.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, SYNK is not liable for any loss arising from your use of Relayo, including lost data, lost profit, or anything that happens on a site you reached through us. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.
Relayo is free. Where a limit on liability applies and a cap is needed, that cap is zero, because you have paid us nothing.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when they last changed. If a change is significant we will say so on the site rather than quietly swapping the text.
9. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
